If you have strong persuasive skills, enjoy hard negotiating and want to be involved in the world of real estate, then this industry should definitely be on your radar when looking to start your career.

There are several ways you can get involved in the real estate process, from facilitating the selling process, to taking charge of managing the rental segment of an agency, or being involved in the legal side of property transactions. Check out the list of qualifications below.

Training & Qualifications

Training and study options for this industry can include Apprenticeships and Traineeships (together with school -based options), VET and university pathways. There is also the chance to build on your initial qualifications and work experience to gain advanced credentials to qualify for supervisory or management roles.

Entry level courses include:

  • Real Estate Sales Agents – Certificate III in Property Services (Agency) and/or Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate)
  • Land Economists and Valuers - Diploma of Financial Services with further study onto Bachelor of Property Economics
