If you enjoy dealing with people and are a good communicator then a job in the racing industry could be of interest to you. Your main responsibilities could entail taking bets and debiting credit accounts, issuing tickets and preparing summaries of transactions, monitoring amounts of money placed on race entrants and answering betting inquiries over the telephone, via email and in person.You’ll need to have a keen knowledge of the racing industry to provide advice to your customers, and be a great communicator. Most of the job will be talking to customers and ensuring their bets are captured correctly and answering a lot of questions.Training & Qualifications
