The Arts and Recreation industry encompasses a range of occupations in fields such as physical recreation, creative and performing arts, gambling services, parks and gardens operations, horse and dog racing and museum operations.

Training & Qualifications
Training and study options for this industry can include Apprenticeships and Traineeships (together with school- based options), VET and university pathways. There are also opportunities to build on your initial qualifications and work experience to gain advanced qualifications for supervisory or management roles. Entry level courses include:
- Gallery, Museum and Tour Guides- Certificate III in Guiding
- Fitness Instructors - Certificate III in Fitness and/ or Certificate IV in Fitness
- Animal Attendants and Trainers - Certificate III in Animal Studies
